Pie of Tuna

Ideal recipe to receive to the visits in house…


  • 2 plates of broken (bread) mass
  • 2 purple onions (or white, to the taste)
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 tin of red roast pepper
  • 400 gr. of tuna (2 big tins)
  • 400 gr. sauce of tomato
  • Sweet paprika
  • 1 egg
  • Olive oil
  • Flour of wheat


In a floured surface we stretch a plate of mass lengthways with a roller and we her go on to the tray of oven.

We stretch another plate of mass, do a hole in way and reserve.

In a frying pan with 3 soup spoonfuls apróx. of olive oil we sauté the onion and the cut into pieces peppers.

Once poached, we add the tuna.

We leave it to cook approximately 5 min. apróx. and add the sauce of tomato.

We hope that the sauce of tomato is cooked a bit and add a teaspoonful of sweet paprika and remove.

We withdraw of the fire and spill the mixture on the base of the pie, leaving the free edges of landfill.

We cover with the plate of reserved mass and close the pie joining the edges of the plate of above with her of below.

We beat the egg and add a trickle of olive oil and helping ourselves with a paintbrush we paint the pie in order that it does not remain dry and takes color. And we puncture her with a holder in several sites in order that the mass is not filled on having taken heat.

We introduce the pie in the oven preheated to 200ºC until the mass is gilded.

We withdraw the pie of the oven and stop to cool.
